FAQs

How do I cantact the support team?

Once your account is activated, you can login to your control panel and select to enter Live Chat or call the toll-free number provided to you. You can call to speak directly with our support team. Live chat and phone support are both available 24x7 for any supported domain.

Where is your support team located?

We know how frustrating it can be to try and receive support from someone you can barely understand halfway around the world. Our entire technical support team is located in-house (in San Antonio, Texas, to be precise); we refuse to offshore any portion of support. By closely monitoring service interactions, we can ensure our clients will receive a worthwhile interaction every time.

What domain extensions can I host with your Hosting System?

You can set up domains with any extension, but only the following ones can be purchased or transferred to our Hosting System:
.com
.net
.org
.co.uk
.org.uk
.biz
.cc
.tv
.info
.us

I already have a domain name. How do I transfer the name to your Hosting System?

You need to change your existing name servers to ours:

1. Access your account with your current registrar (godaddy.com, register.com, etc).
2. Change the nameservers to dns1.stabletransit.com and dns2.stabletransit.com.

All DNS changes take up to 48 hours to take effect. During this time you can check your website by using the test URL (i.e. www.yourdomain.com.websitetestlink.com).

Do I get a discount if I prepay my account for 1 year?

Yes. You will receive two free months of web hosting.

How do I find out who my domain Registrar is?

If you are unsure who your domain registrar is, please go to whois.sc and do a whois lookup on your domain. The results should have the section "ICANN Registrar: YOUR_REGISTRAR" which will be the company you need to contact.

How do I transfer the content of my website to my new hosting account?

File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is the only method for adding content to your site that our Hosting System supports. As its name indicates, FTP is a means for transferring files from one computer to another or from a local computer to a remote server.
To FTP your content you will need an FTP client. Some HTML editors (such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver) have FTP access built in. You can either download a free FTP client or purchase and download a commercial one.
For any website you set up, we automatically create an FTP address (i.e. ftp.yourdomain.com). The FTP path may not work during the initial 48 hour period after DNS for the site has been set up. During that 48 hour period, you can use the test ftp, "ftp1.ftptoyoursite.com," to add content to your site.
When setting up your FTP client, you will need to know your FTP settings (which is emailed to you when your account is activated).

Can I host adult content sites on Digiland Solutions hosting system?

Any type of adult content/pornography is strictly prohibited.

Where can I find your Acceptable Use Policyr?

You can find a copy of our AUP and TOS here.

How can you guarantee 100% uptime?

You can only guarantee the uptime on a redundant web cluster if the network and datacenters you're using are world-class. In our case, we're only able to offer the aggressive SLAs that we do because we're using Rackspace's Superstructure.
